Last night at the Strand Arcade in Sydney the Chambord Shine Awards finished up their competition to find the hottest emerging designer in the country with an impressive runway show, Chambord cocktails and nibblies.
Fashion identity Kate Waterhouse, Grant Pearce from LMFF, actor Gracie Otto, Fashion Editor Kate Harrowsmith and Kate Mansour of Chambord looked to the competing designers to showcase what will be the hottest looks for the racing carnivals this spring and summer.
Out of the 10 finalists who competed, it was Melbourne duo 'Limedrop' who won the judges votes and also a double page spread in Marie Claire magazine, the opportunity to show their creation tomorrow night in front of 2,000 people at the Strand Arcade and have their design worn by Gracie Otto at the Spring Racing Carnival.
Limedrop creaters, Clea Garrick and Nathan Price, won the Chambord competition with their flowing, modern races frock that had a carousel horse print-- very appropriate if you ask us.
