Every Cook performance is a master class in singing. No one interprets a song's meaning better than this consummate artist. My absolute favorite female singer.

You found the words, I think. I've seen Barbara in nearly all her Broadway musical performances, as well as her enchanted evenings at the Cafe Carlyle in NYC. I also heard her solo concert at the Met Opera and the NY Philharmonic in 2007. She has such us a gorgeous voice and she shares the emotional truth in all the lyrics only she knows how to find. She sings just for us, each of us, and you always feel it. Barbara is ageless. She's the best singer/actress of her generation--and ours!

There is no one better. have heard many of these songs on her live from london CD. Thanks for posting these videos as she is such an amazing actress,there is much to be gained by seeing her face as she sings withthat beautiful voice.

there are no words to describe the magnificence of Barbara Cook's voice..;I had the great good fortune to see her in concert live 3 times(so far :-))...the most beautiful voice I have ever heard,the singer's singer par excellence !
