Baby White Tail Deer, Fawn Born

In the morning I look out the window and saw something in the yard that looked small like a rabbit. Upon closer inspection with binoculars it was found to be a fawn all curled up in the grass.
The video shows how easy it is to get a fawn to identify with you and follow you around like a dog.
I have a second video of petting the fawn and trying to feed it some milk with a dropper but not uploaded.
We discovered from the wildlife people that cows milk is bad for deer. They also told us that it is common for the momma to leave the fawn to sleep in the day and come back later to feed it in the evening until the fawn can walk properly.

@TheCoolperson1996 Thanks for the watching. The big deer make noises too but we seldom get to catch them doing it on camera.

did you call some sort of animal services for it?

@schraut5 Eventually we did call the wildlife dept and they told us to just wait and the mama would come back later.

its better not to get around them because if u get your scent on them the mom will leave them to die
