Hack Review: Megaman Ultra, part 2

WoodMan stage of Megaman Ultra, the complete hack of Mega Man II by a coder who goes by the name "infidelity". This hack is considered to be a gem, and you can get a preview of its gameplay by watching this. I also decide to finally use my microphone for once while playing. :P

When I downloaded the rom and clicked the megaman_ultra.ips. It was all just a bunch of weird letters. what do i do?

you need a program like Lunar IPS so you can patch it to a Mega Man 2 ROM

do you have turbo on your controler or is the pea shooter now turbo'd?

@ghostfacedragon: Hmm, whenever you see the bullets going really fast, it's probably because I'm right next to what I'm shooting, so I can press it fast and the bullets disappear fast as well. There's a limit to how many bullets can be on screen at one time, so it all has to do with where I'm standing pretty much. No turbo tricks were used.

One time, I played Super Mario Bros 1,2, and 3for hours and after that I started playing Megaman and started stomping on all the enemies but after a lot of stomping I died. It wasn't Mario. Who knew?

The bombs are acting like the birds that drop the eggs, and the Koopas (and larger goombas) are acting like the Rabbit that fires the carrot missiles. The flying goombas are running like the bats.

Not a bad hack; but the best Megaman hack/clone is still MegaMari from Touhou.

Those Koopas are hacked, Purple Rabbits shooting bombos instead of Carrots ^^
