Actually, this video is to demonstrate MRC's sound decoder which is sold as "SD80 Sound Decoder", hence the title. If you check my info section, i did mention that this loco is SD90/43MAC. Thanks for the comment!

do you have to modify the body? and is the sound automatic? or push button?

@mrclay1964 Nope, for SD80, nothing to modify except replacing the board with the provided decoder. The engine sound is automatic but the others like horn are using buttons.

very nice i am getting a sound decoder from mrc for a ac4400 and i hope i dont have any trouble withit thisis my first one i have the older atlas dcc so i dont know what will happen

@trackspike64 Thx! I guess you shouldnt have any problem running on your atlas dcc. It even works on DC but cant control the sounds effects.

Yep, i used a MRC's Prodify Express to test the decoder. Prodify Express seems like a great deal, USD110 plus shipping from US to Malaysia!
