All right... so. The only reason I made this video is because I really wanted to put this song up on my Subeta profile, and there isn't a single video on YouTube with this song in it. :'o
I wish I could make a 'nice' video out of this song, since it's one of my favorite songs, but... I don't have anything to make a video out of. So. Yeah.

This is track two off of the CD, "The Light of Things Hoped For".

  • are they not ska like they were in five iron frenzy?

  • No, Brave Saint Saturn is definitely not ska, but still catchy. c:

  • No offense, but why bother telling us that? Pretty much everyone who comes here wants to listen to the song because they like it or because they like the band, and they don't want to see someone pointlessly bashing it.

There are lots of other music videos on YouTube you can watch, why don't you go comment on one of those? :)

  • I would just put up one's that are not on here already. Excellent job.

  • Okay, I'll work on that... thanks for the compliment, by the way. (:

  • best song ever in my life!!

  • @Freedomcall82 Because a lot of those verses weren't in the oldest manuscripts so it's not likely that they were written by the apostles, or disciples of the apostles. Fact is KJV was written in Victorian English with what they knew then, ESV, NASB, HCSB, are all written like we speak now just like the scriptures were written in common vernacular when they were started.

  • @itskragus they have taken away a lot of the language and also in NIV they took out verses in matthew. revelation says it is forbidden to take away or add to the bible. I go by king james.

  • @Freedomcall82 Lost 80 percent of what? Plus, hardly anyone uses the NIV, and the NIV you're speaking of was revised. I use the ESV which used the original manuscripts just like the KJV version did.

And how dare you say that it's not a "real" bible. Believe it or not, the apostles didn't write in Victorian English, they wrote in Hebrew (OT) and Greek (NT). So, your "authorized" version isn't a "real" bible either.

  • @itskragus I am a KJ Purest. maybe if you read the king james bible it would enlighten you a lot. my speech actually improved on me listening to radio sermons and reading the bible. the only thing i had to have a friend pray that truth would pour out of me like fire. boldness courage to reach out to the lost etc. NIV is not the real bible because it took away 80 percent of the original bible scriptures and the original language. God bless you man dont worry if you seek Christ more it will help

  • @KJVWordofGod One thing... you're name irks me. Bloody KJV purests.

Number two... this album is written as an epic, it has an over-arching metaphor throughout the album. The metaphor is that darkness or space are the equivalent of sin, and so when the shuttle gets trapped behind the moon it represents mankind being totally separate from God. So when he refers to light, he is referring to The Light.

Just because it's not spelled out on a third-grade level doesn't mean it isn't there.

  • @KJVWordofGod

You might want to look up "Daylight" by the same band. Not only is it a blatant praise song, but it actually says "Jesus Christ" repeatedly. Just to provoke thought (not argument), what is your opinion about the passages in the Bible where Jesus is called by a metaphorical name rather than the more straightforward "Jesus Christ"? "Lamb," "Shepherd," etc.? Or Jesus' parables? I see no problem with using this imagery if your intention is sincere. Just food for thought.

  • I came to listen from a Facebook link. Don't know the band. Didn't know the song. I do not hear Jesus Christ in this anywhere. This same song with the identical words could be praise for Ra or Annu both names of the sun god. When one has to read Christ INTO a song to hear Christ in the song...not good. Catchy tune and well done lyrics....but not identify -ably Christian. (I AM aware of Malachi 4:2....but that is only one witness and in the song, a vague reference at best.)

  • They've been proving that Christian music doesn't have to suck for years now. Why are these guys not huge yet?
