It's debatable whether or not Ichigo was attacked by a hollow prior to meeting Rukia. A hollow, Grand Fisher, killed his mother but the manga and anime give different reasons for the attack.In the anime, fisher killed her because he liked to eat the souls of women, but in the manga Fisher killed her because he liked to eat the souls of kids and she merely died protecting Ichigo, who was Fishers intended target. So technically it's true to say he was and was not attacked by a hollow before hehe

@3cch1tt3b4n3 i belive that interacting with rukia caused some kind of seal probably set by his dad to come undone thus freeing his riatsu

@MrFunkypug Oh, thanks!! : D Yeah, it's very difficult when the artist is not logical with his/her work... But, we are all humans and make mistakes. : ) I just always prefer trying to figure things in the world they belong to, 'cause I want that there's sense in that created world too. :''D Damn, my writings are having less and less sense...
