haha I can see why you thought that :) Welcome to intentional distrortion in the modern world. Some of us like it, some don't. No one ever complains about electric guitars - even clean sounding blues - that's distorted valves that make that sound and they've been emulating it since transistors in the 60's. You're just used to that particular sound. This here is a new one for you - glitchy digital distortion, inherently ugly, but fascinatingly odd. It'll grow on you. Hopefully :)
