Very nice video. I love Zenyatta although Ruffian will always be number 1 in my heart. There have been some very good filly racers but Zenyatta has something magic about her. She just jogs along then those ears go up and start to wiggle then she kicks it into high gear with unbelievable closing speed. The pair could easily be #1 and #2 all-time. I know they are for me.I just hope Zenyatta does not share Ruffians fate and has long race career and very long healthy happy retirement

Both Zenyatta and Rachel are brilliant girls, and fast, fast ones also. Zenyatta, however, falls into the astounding category. She, like Ruffian, has multiple unbeaten track records and times. I love horse racing, and I love these two girls, but my heart will always belong to Ruffian.

I hope that both Rachel and Zennie stay strong and live out their natural lives beautifully.

Amazing video, I simply love Zenyatta and always will. She brought me through my Mothers' death and gave me hope again, I traveled alone to Louisville, Ky to see her in her final race because someone on YouTube invited me. She to me is the ultimate racehorse, only because of her winning attitude, and the way she treats all others, human and animal, I simply adore her and she lives in my heart forever, always forever, Michele.

I may not have been alive to see Ruffian. I may not have been ab;e to see a Triple Crown winner, but I am alive in the Zenyatta Times. She is truely amazing. Go kick some butt in the Classic girl! ♥

@queenluciaa I do. I just don't see why RA is so "great" sure, she had a few very nice races, but Zenyatta has consistently been the best. I'm kind of upset that JJ retired her, they mismanaged her and she could have been a nice graded mare. I loved her when Hal had her, once JJ bought her it's kind of obvious that she was going to go downhill, all of "his" horses do.

I understand how much everyone loves Ruffian. I'll never forget the day she died; it was several years before I'd watch another horse race. I don't know if Zenyatta is better than Ruffian, but I am positive Zenyatta is a magnificent superhorse. Please, you young folk, don't get so tied up in the past that you don't see the wonder alive right now. Someday you'll be telling your grandkids that you saw Zenyatta.
