  • not to work with anyone so distracted, boring and immature.

  • No professional is a hero when doing what they are trained to do, given the SOP of that particular job. Hero's are people going above and beyond, risking injury or death for another. Are firefighters paid and equipped to enter a burning building, cut up a car etc, certainly. Are cops equipped and so trained? NO! Cop entering burning building = hero. Firefighter putting out fire whilst threatened by mob or under fire = hero. Ridiculous argument, lots of insecurity and hose/gun envy, glad not to

  • Firefighters = Heroes

    Enough said.

  • Cops and firefighters have one thing in common, they both want to be firemen.

  • Demonstration...

  • @xcrunner819 Firefighters are gods gift to the community! How many people want to go to the police station? How many want to be a cop when they grow up? Everybody whats to go to the fire station and everybody wants to be a firefighter when they grow up!

  • @verstehetmich Amen brother!

  • @verstehetmich This may be but you also have to factor in the dispatchers page out for fire. Usually an officer is ready to go, where as firemen and ambulance(again where i'm from) have to put down what they are doing, get to their vehicles and drive to the station, get dressed, and then wait for more people to have a crew. So obviously police will arive first. Even in housed departments, firemen still ahve to dress. I'm not saying all police are lazy, but there are deffinately some out there.

  • and by the way, both those incidents were well before the 'washdown crew' showed up
