@VacntobsessioN if Pluto is a planet that would mean our solar system gets about 5 extra planets because they have the same size or are bigger then pluto... that would suck.

@steveman751 those little rocks between mars and jupiter that orbit the sun aren't planets - they're asteroids. unfortunately size does matter. hell, you and i orbit the sun, but that doesn't make us planets

@steveman751 Just because something orbits a star doesnt make it a planet. The moon is affected by the gravitational pull of the sun and its not a planet. The smallest planet in the solar system is mercury and is twice as large as pluto! so no it can't possibly be classified as a planet.
