I didn't cry when Dobby died. I didn't cry during Snape's memories. I didn't cry when Fred died. Though all of those saddened me greatly, movies rarely make me cry. But this scene from "Deathly Hallows Part 1" did just that.

@MichaelM62 It's symbolic...Hermione is wiping her parents' memories of her so the Voledemort army doesn't go after them and so they don't remember her and worry and possibly get into trouble for her

This is so beautifully done! It makes this scene so much sadder. Which is saying something, given how sad it already was.

This scene, and Snapes flashback were the most saddest parts in the movie.
But the flash back though.. Jk Rowling did a better love story in a single chapter than Stephanie Meyer in a whole series,

This was one of the saddest scenes in any film I've seen, a only child wiping her parents memories of her.
