Chelan Man 2008 - Youngest Competitor

At 4 years and 1 day old, Alexis was the youngest competitor in the "splash & dash" race for kids at this years Chelan Man Triathlon in Lake Chelan Washington this weekend. It wasn't a REAL race of course, since there was hand holding and lots of a assistance, but we were very proud of her excitement and gung-ho attitude. She's a real winner in our eyes!

Part 1: Betsy Powers, a friend of the family, finishing the Sprint Distance Triathlon. Great job, Betsy!

Part 2: My dad was the 2nd oldest competitor in the whole triathlon! We're proud of your dad!!!

Part 3: Alexis doing her first "splash & dash. Sorry we didn't get more video of it! I was busy holding her hand in the water and running with her. But she did AWESOME!
