ARAN Stages 'Bloody Hands' Demonstration Outside Dept of Environment

ARAN members make a huge difference!

Check out footage early on in the demo where almost 60 members and supporters came and went during a lively protest by ARAN to call on John Gormley not to renew hare coursing licences for the coming season. The protest was attended by independent TD Maureen O Sullivan who is also a friend and colleague of the late Tony Gregory - a fierce bloodsport opponent, in attendance also was his brother Noel Gregory and supporters from the Irish Council Against Bloodsports. The event went on for almost two hours and during this time people kept coming and going and many held placards whilst chanting 'Shame on John Gormley - Ban Hare Coursing'. Tthe event was covered by the press also along with a one minute's silence for Tony Gregory for all his work to ban bloodsports in Ireland.
