Alice tried to return to mima but she couldn't cause of yuka, before that mima gave to marisa the power of spark in a piece , it is the tenth part of mima's spark. now, Alice tries to stole that thing but she falled in love with marisa. :B

...Something weird just happened to me...
While trying to get a frame of Yuka flying towards the screen, I paused and the sound began repeating rapidly -- like the 'aaaaa' part in that paruparuparu video. It scared the crap out of me. I thought Mima had taken over my computer . D8

What I was implying was that Mima lost purposely to Alice to try and figure the purpose of the Grimoire. As Mima is just a soul, Alice sealed her using a sort of voodoo, most likely in a doll or the grimoire. Throughout Touhou's 'story', Alice tries to make animate dolls; to create life like Shinki. Alice was trying to put Mima's soul in a body to create life. Yuka comes along, beats Alice and gains the 'ultimate magic', Mima inhabiting herself in the interestingly powerful subject.
