  • kinda takes the fun out of horse shows when the stands are empty...no crowd to get the horse hype.

  • @Lugimoo I agree! The problem is, this was the last class of the night and it was VERY late, so most people already went to bed. :(

  • @Epona1979 I don't like stock build dogs. That doesn't mean I take a labrador, mix it with all kinds of other slim build dogs and then still call it a labrador.

  • @Epona1979 You think a horse with double horse shoes, check reins, forced to lift their feet even higher than they naturally do, is happy? No matter what your taste is, but you know they aren't. And again, these ponies aren't shetlandponies. A shetlandpony doesn't look like this, doesn't behave like this and doesn't walk like this.

  • I also want to add that the horses/ponies that wear the weighted shoes and such are NOT allowed to run loose (only under saddle/harness or in hand) because of fear of the weighted shoes getting thrown or the pony injuring themselves. This guy has pretty simple shoes, so I let him run as he wants! You can also see other videos of him posted loose at home playing. He sometimes goes barefoot during non-show season too.

  • @Saartje05 Everyone has their own tastes. I think any well cared for, happy horse is beautiful regardless of what it is. Personally, I don't care for stock horses (like Quarter Horses) because I think they are not flashy at all. But I've certainly seen beautiful ones!

  • @Horselover4811, they lift their feet that high naturally... but sometimes some of these horses have extra "things" done to them to get them to pick up their feet even higher. This horse moves like this when he has shoes put on... and they are not really "weighted" shoes or anything like that, they are evenly weighted shoes.

  • Thats a modern sheland? I thought there was only one shetland! WOW here the pounding of the hooves god!

  • NICE!! I didn't know that Modern Shetlands were such nice movers!

  • no one is there! lol cute horse!!!!!!!!!!

  • He looks like he could do that all daylong haha!
