I've served in two branches of the military. Women are a liability to male military personnel and to overall military missions. The sexual tension and general lack of physical strength they provide are a lethal one-two punch. Military regulations forbid me from saying this aloud while I served, but now I can say the obvious. Women should better consider their goals rather than getting sucked into feminists pleas for equality in each and every situation.

Did you just make an argument based on "my friend's friend says"? Seriously?
FAIL.

End all of our wars and bring our troops back from the 150+ countries they are currently stationed in, and bring them back to their homes and to their families. Our American Empire that we are running is both immoral and unconstitutional, are Founding Fathers would be ashamed of us. Vote Ron Paul in the 2012 elections!

Little is publicly known about the SRR's size or structure. Recent press reports have put the regiment at company size - around 150 operatives. The SRR is believed to be based alongside the SAS at RHQ Credenhill, near Hereford. Following a grueling selection process, SRR operatives are trained in the arts of surveillance, photography, close quarters battle (CQB) and advanced driving. It is the only UKSF regiment to include women in operational roles.

The Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR) is a relatively recently formed special forces unit of the British Army, specialising in surveillance and intelligence gathering operations. The secrecy surrounding the SRR is even greater than the SAS or SBS, with very little info about the unit leaking into the public domain. It is believed that one of the main roles of the SRR is to support SAS/SBS special operations by providing close target reconnaissance, surveillance and 'eyes-on' intelligence.

have any of you read "Band of Sisters: Women at War in Iraq" you definately should because you would definately have more respect for female soldiers and what we do provide in the war! like the fact we are the only ones who can give seaches on the women and children. and we work our butts off to keep up and we make sure that men DON'T have to make an acception for us!

@puplax9 Can women carry a wounded Marine who weighs almost twice as much, along with all his gear, and all her gear over rough terrain to get them out of harms way? Can women carry a full combat loadout rush towards an objective with her male counterparts? Emotionally, can she handle the stress of combat? Can she handle going for months on end without showers? No, she will break down alot faster and be a detriment to her unit's combat effectivness. Unless of course, some superdyke is engineered

@puplax9 Its not about not allowing women to serve, its about not allowing them to serve in units which require above normal amounts of physical and mental ability due to the fact thay they make frequent enemy contact and spend much of their deployments outside the wire, or on isolated Combat OPs. Women can't hump a 90 pound pack like men can, they cant operate an m249 like men can, they cant carry mortar systems or any of the equipment that goes with that (base plates, tubes, etc.) like men.
I'm a marine. I'm a female. I have served in Iraq. Im an mp. I am a marine like all the rest. I have done the same obstacles as men I have served the same amount of time.
