I loveee the original production of Rent and I saw this thinking I wouldn't like it at all but I still loved it and it's still very much Rent and a lot of the set makes more sense and there was some stuff I actually liked better so go see it

@AlbatrBoss If you think sweaters and glasses is what RENT was (and is about), then I think you were missing the whole point of the show.

Angel and Mimi stole the show for me. Arianda Fernandez had a fantastic Out Tonight, and Today 4 U was incredible.

This is the best cast and production of RENT. I'm probably in the minority thinking that these people are way better than the originals. It is different and Annaleigh's Over The Moon was amazing!

Amazing. Adam is phenomenal! And ShiShi is a total rockstar!

I saw this version last month. It's not the same as the original, but it's still amazing.

I miss the old Mark, with his sweater and glasses...
Well, imo, this revival losts RENT spirit and soul.

Well, although it is called a revival, to be perfectly honest with you, it's only the technical aspect that has changed, the word revival does not cover for the horrific vocals and lack of dramatic talent in all the cast members! I am shocked by Angel's performance in Today 4 U and, it must be said his/her wig is horrendous! Rodger struggles with portraying the correct emotion in various scenes and Mimi fails to impress in any way other than her resemblence to Rosaria Dawson. I am dissapointed.

I went to high school with the girl playing Alexi Darling and Roger's mom. She totally should have been cast as Mimi or Joanne!

i don't want to sound so jugemental, but i SERIOUSLY think they should have kept Angels costumes the same. Now his costumes look very weird. I get it! its a totally different production, but people who love the original are probably sidetracked by some costumes that they changed. besides that i think that it was pretty good. i'm glad it's back :)
Saw this last night -- Don't let the video fool you. It was sensational. Angel and Collins stole the show.
