I see alot of people complaining about fieldstriping this gun and selling them because of this.Please watch my video on Disassembly and Reassembly of the Ruger MKIII,it really isnt that bad..and I hate to see people selling such a great 22 because of that.

I LOVE this gun when I shoot it, but I HATE it when I clean it after. Great reliable and accurate pistol but the take down is terrible.

Finally got mine back together after several attempts. There was some problem with the trigger out of the box - had to pull the trigger twice to fire the first round of each magazine I inserted. But I think I fixed the problem because it will now dry fire correctly. This gun is a curiosity to say the least!

Thanks for your video but my way is a little less difficult,put the bolt back in the barrel before you put it back on the frame...keeping the hammer up,I have a video on it and will respond it to this one if you will accept it.

I love mine but am glad I got the MKII instead of the MKIII with all the safety garbage on it. with the 10 in barrel its a squirrel getter.
