Okay, so the Raines guitar is produced by Yunzhi guitar of China, that sells for $1k delivered with a 60 day wait period if you order directly from Yunzhi, is that correct?

No that is not correct. I'm not sure of anybody else's policies regarding orders. But there are some great guitars coming out of China. If you don't mind rolling the dice. If you're looking for an archtop, we have our older styles selling for $1100-1400 right now. Includes heavy gig bag and air shipping. And great set up with warranty.

Have you an 18" six string? Is this Pisano 880 still available?

The Pisano is long gone-sorry. Also, I just sold the last 'stock' 6 string. Now we have a few 7 strings left. I do have a repaired 17" in trans black that I'm setting up today. I was going to put it on ebay for $950 but could sell direct for $800 shipped. It had a big crack in the back, but has been fixed, refinished and looks/plays great with full warranty.

Can I ask what kind of thumbpick you're using?

I just use whatever --that's an Ernie Ball. But I chop and file the hell out of them so they're at the sharpest point possible with very little pick left.

Both Guitars Sound Like Crap - No better then a $400 Ibanez

Man are u a fabulous player. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Everyone's always telling me I'm too particular so I especially enjoyed hearing someone else pays attention to such details :-)

16" and 18" body sizes. Of course you would expect a difference. My point in the video is simply the cost/quality/tone ratio. I will hopefully be doing a side by side w/ a Benedetto in a month or 2 as well.

does anyone else tend to watch matt's videos primarily for his playing, secondarily for the actual guitars? H
