I think Stephen Kechulius is one of the best baritones I've ever heard live. On this recording it seems the orchestra is overpowering, I wonder how it was in the audience? I would have like to have heard Opolais also, she seems a wonderful singer and actor.

¿Qué hace una montaña de sacos en un despacho del Palacio Farnesio?

To judge the heft of a voice from a recording is not a valid judgement. Stephen Kechuilius has a very hefty voice and presence to match. If you've not heard him live and are going solely from the recording, I'd hold off making judgements. The soprano also held her own.

Sorry to disagree these are very, very light voices for such a dramatic piece!

Great singing, and interesting staging. Is it meant to be set during the fascist occcupation? Rather trendy these days. ;-)
Not so sure about the pile of sacks(?).
How come did you see that? Are you greek, Parsifalito?
