Drum & Bass Groove #1

Here is a Drum & Bass groove from my lastest Rittor Music Instructional Video. larry Finn is playing drums. Notice how on the first take the drums are more active and on the second take, the bass is more active.

What tuning do you use? Your bass is awesome, have you customized it yourself?

That started as a 1965 Jazz Bass that someone destroyed. I put a Moses Graphite neck on it and I string it from B-D. I use it when I need the low B string for some recordings, becase I don't own a 5 string. I just like to play 4 string.

ohh alright i get it its like a 7 string guitar but with out the high e string so deeper tone thats cool actually ::P didnt know that thanks dude

yep, this bass has no g string, allowing the player to reach lower notes. The standard tuning is EADG, just as you stated.

Yea, but it's not the standard tuning of the 7-string so having to get the low F# string for one isn't an issue.
