This is one of my MANY different mixers I use to DJ around here. I currently use a Korg Zero4, Xone3D, M-Audio Xponent and Hercules MKII. I use all of them to DJ for many clubs around here, so I consider them to be all professional gear- cheap plastic or 20 pounds of metal. Its not about what the tool you use, its about how you use it!

I noticed that the scratch button isn't on. how are you scratching with this feature turned off? Please respond thanks.

how you scratch if it isn't a touch sensitive jog wheel? because you first have to stop the wheel spinning and then the music stops

Scratch when I do, I'll jog to the next as he changes a crossfader automatically
someone knows how to solve?

Hey DJ Kavika, that is some tight scratching. I also have the RMX and was wondering what you have your sensibility set at on the jogwheels. I have been looking for just the right setting to make it sound like real record scratching, and it seems that you nailed it. Please advise.
Dude what are you settings for scratching? Every time I try to scratch on virtual dj, the cross-fader latency is too apparent!

@jhooks3000 I was using VirtualDJ 5.2 at the time. I don't know how good it works now with the newest version of VDJ and driver since I now longer own the unit, but at that time I had to manually midi map the hercules and disable the "native" mapping for it built into virtualdj. Otherwise it lagged bad. I had the latency set to 1 ms, which is like 8 ms compared to other high end audio cards.

It was the default settings in 5.2, not any custom settings like in VDJ6.x I have no luck other than the default config on 6.x on any midi controller.

Hey how did you guys get the video to blink vinyl when you were scratching?

@weedlywah When you move the fader it sends a signal(midi) to virtualdj to switch left / right audio and video.
