@mrsir450 ...Joe has never done this before with anyone. I know this because (1) I took the video (2) Tallan is a very good friend of mine and I boosted him up on stage, and (3) I'm part of Joe's Street Team and know how big of an event this was for my little buddy Tallan. In the future, I'd suggest you research something before posting a comment.

@mrsir450 I think you're a little mistaken. The fellow that you are calling a "lead singer" is actually Joe Bonamassa and the guitar is actually his which is a Gibson Joe Bonamassa Signature Gold Top Les Paul. Joe is one of the greatest guitarists in the world today and at the spur of the moment, he asked Tallan to join him on stage and then strapped his guitar on Tallan....continued....

I had the honor of spending Tallans 12th Birthday with him. I am a photographer and I took 700 pictures of him and the other two he was playing with. People in the crowd said they had chills. He is a earth grounded typical yet gifted 12 year old. His Parents have done a great job with him. I say he will keep the blues alive for generations to come..Lisa Columbus Ohio Peace Love and Music Tallan

@treeradioproductions Tallan had wanted to get up and pay with Joe for a long time but of course, Joe is travelling the world most of the time. Several days before the show, Tallan told his dad that he was going to get up and play with Joe and his band. His dad tried to reassure him that most likely it would not happen...continued

@treeradioproductions ...however, Tallan remained undeterred. The day of the show the three of us first attended Joe's guitar seminar put on at noon at a local music store. Tallan and Joe had met before and exchanged some conversation. Nothing however, was said about "getting up" to play. I've known Joe for several years now and his shows are very professionally done, he just doesn't "wing" things. That's why it came as such a shock when he asked me to boost Tallan up on stage. :)

Is that a Les Paul? Those things are heavy as hell!

@stenchface Yes, it is a Les Paul. Actually, it's Joe's signature model Les Paul. During the last song of the night, he asked me to boost Tallan up on stage when he signaled. When he did, Tallan went over by Joe and Joe and Dave Pate, Joe's guitar tech at the time, strapped Joe's guitar on to Tallan. The rest is shown on the video. This was totally unplanned and Joe normally just doesn't wing something during a show. Needless to say, it was a fabulous ending! :)

what this kid was on americas got talent? and he didnt win or get a chance to perform at the sounds of it? wow. our society is so fucked up. makes me wanna write some letters to some people and give them a piece of my mind. i cant handle it. wow. If that little dude takes requests... get him to a youtube video of "Lenny" by SRV.

@brentgeemn Interesting that you mentioned "Lenny" by SRV. Tallan used to play "Life Without You" a couple of years ago. We were at an outdoor show/event and lots of people had stopped by to see Tallan and his band perform. When he started that song, everyone just froze in their tracks. I've never seen people react quite that way to any song. At the end, people didn't know whether to cry or applaud. It was Fantastic!
