This is a short tour of the new nest of my Messor Barbarus ants. I used 2 Ytong blocks to make the nest and connected the 2 sides with a green plastic tube. The nest is placed in an old aquarium (aprox. 60X30X37) so the ants can't bite their way out.
I have no idea how many ants this 2 year old colony currently counts, but it must be more than 1000.
