I feel sympathetic to Atoli in the games, but if they make a character who doesn't even appear until the end of the series more appealing to me than the obvious interest they might want to rethink the characters.

There's actually a background in the game that shows Haseo with every character that can be romantically involved with him. Yes, even Endrance and Sakubo.

Well, you can't understand it if you never played the game. The game is a follow up of the anime, a few months (Or years, can't remember which one) after what happened in the anime.

I dont understand, well.. I never played the game but watched the anime. Wasn't Shino gone?? and like couldn't come back to the game. Thats what I thought?? so someone help me out here did Shino come back or is this just a fun credit ending thing?? confused I mean I know the ending game can be anything so you don't have to explain that to me..

...honestly... when I first started watching .hack//Roots, I was pissed that Haseo and Shino was the "canon" couple... that changed quickly though.

Now that I think about it, Haseo just has a lovely harem. Though I... don't really like Alkaid or Bordeaux. x_x
