  • im thinking of getting a new ss750 but im worried the bike may be too small for me. how tall are you?

  • 5'10"

  • what bike was that because it was a stunning bike i think personally

    comment back to me

    thank you.

  • it is a 2007 honda shadow spirit 750, black with red pin-stripe flames.

  • How tough was it being a first time on a Shadow Spirit? I'm going to be training on a 250 cc Yamaha Virago., but I either want a 750 cc Shadow Spirit or a Shadow Aero. I'm wondering how brutal the jump in engine size is going to be. Starting on one must take some balls lol.

  • 750 is a good choice for an upgrade.

  • i have just bought a VT 750 shadow spirit and i pick it up on saturday, can't wait

  • Get a scooter, 50 cc to 125cc. Put some proper clothes on. Elbow, shoulder and knee protection. Get a proper training course. Cover those bare arms and protect your knees, hips and feet. Put proper gloves on. 1000cc will kill you, and possibly someone else. Just because the law might (stupidly) allow you to commit suicide doesn't mean you should. Start with a small machine and learn road-craft. Learn balance, braking, turning. Until then don't go near that bike....you'll regret it.

  • he crashed and died around corner :(

  • ss750 is a great starter bike. i started on a 2002 ss750 and it wasnt hard at all, definately not as hard as people make it out to be. added benefit of a cruiser bike is insurance is super cheap. mine was only $92 for the whole year and it was my first bike!

  • omg its like nascar with a pit stop at the end. jk

ive been looking to get a sport bike but i think the shadow is gonna chang my mind about that choice

  • @shagy2k5 I started on a 50cc a year ago and I've only just moved up to 125cc, in a few years, I want something like a bullet 350cc. Just do it slowly and steadily.

  • @shagy2k5 No, seriously mate, don't. YOU WILL crash. I'm not saying it's you personally, if you put someone that hasn't ridden before on a 1000cc you are asking for a serious crash.

  • Beautiful bike. I'm thinking of going for one myself as soon as I get my license. I am 2 lessons in so far :-)

  • will anybody think is a good idea buying a 1000 cc as a first bike?

  • YO you can make the bike fit your body just figure out what you need foot controls seats ect ect..... have fun ride safe

  • get the 750, nice stance, great balcance, and will get you up into the 100's quicker than you need to be up there. I just got mine two weeks ago. And I like it much better than I did my HD. 'Course i'd rather ride than wrench as the saying goes. But the look I want is easier to accomplish and cheaper with the SS750.
