@LDSapologist71 Batism doesnt save us from sin, But the death, burial and ressurection of Jesus Christ does. Its through His blood which he shed for us on calvary that we are save from sin and hell. Water babtism is a symbol of our salvation of us dying with Christ and rising again with Him, leaving behind who we once were, it is not our means of attaining salvation.
