Hampton Florida located on 301 and CR18 between world famous speed traps Lawtey approx 11 miles to the north and Waldo approx 2 miles to the south.Hampton does not have the notoriety of it's looting neighbors nor it's own SPEED TRAP billboards. However in my opinion Hampton is even worse.Notice how they hide behind those recycling dumpsters. If public safety is Hampton PD's primary concern then why are they hiding behind those dumpsters? Why not sit in the median, in plain sight, on the north and south borders of town? They could still catch plenty of speeders but more people would slow down. Not shown in my video is the unmarked red Chevy Impala SS.He is the champion looter and he loves to ticket truck drivers!Beware the Red Chevy Impala!
I have also witnessed these LEO's standing in the median and when the light turns red they will walk between the cars looking for seat belt "violators".If they spot a violator they flag them into the median...sometimes 2 or 3 per red light cycle!!!! I hope to catch this on film and I will go back and get the red Chevy Impala on film.

  • Why don't you just let these Officers do their jobs without interfering. Everyone seems to think they are out to make everyone's lives hell but in reality they are there to keep the roads safe and crack down on idiot drivers. We all know there are too many of those on the road. Although I agree some may abuse their power , we need to let them do their jobs.

  • @KJRace31 What video did you watch? Where was I interfering with any body. Do you realy consider filming from a safe distance interfering? If you pay attention,in all of my video's I never make the initial contact. The LEO's always approach me and make verbal contact. In this video Officer Burkett approached me and started asking questions.I was just going to get some footage from the spot I walked to after getting his name and badge number. I simply film them performing their jobs!

  • Hampton Speed trap is SHUT DOWN!

  • @Lauren777Sanders I drove through Hampton twice today.South on my way to Williston and north a few hours later on my way back to Jax.I saw no Hampton PD on either pass through,What gives? Are they really shut down? Can you please give me some info on whether it is really shut down?

  • Man that is an awesome spot!! Wish we had a gas station with the dumpsters set up like that in our town.

  • @gammyland Yeah,I hope you do find a spot like Hampton with dumpsters, and if you do...I will be there with my camera to film it! Ha Ha!

  • ENTRAPMENT: In criminal law, entrapment is conduct by a law enforcement agent inducing a person to commit an offense that the person would otherwise have been unlikely to commit.

If any part of the police car were visible to the driver, the driver would have slowed down. If the driver did not slow down, then entrapment could not be used to get out of the ticket because they had the opportunity to slow within the legal limit when they saw the police car, but did not choose to do so.

  • @KJRace31 because police today dont give a damn about your safety, they are out to make the state money to keep their budgets inflated. you know how many cars ive seen broken down on the highway with cops only a mile or so away in line of sight of the vehicle that dont leave their speed traps? they are revenue generators. they dont give a damn about helping you.

  • 2:28 I'm guessing he just joined the force yesterday, didnt even know he answers to the public

    name and badge number bitch.

  • Oh wow, my niece was hit by a speeding car at this exact intersection. So I guess I'm glad our tax dollars are going towards making Hampton a safer place to live. Thanks for your video.

  • We were out there selling BBQ at the store in 2011 during the Gator Home Football Games we watch them give out 61 tickets one Saturday and almost cause alot wrecks.

  • Hahaha....they don't know the law in giving the name and badge number.

  • i dont like police sitting idle getting worked up wanting something to happen and when something dose they overreact and innocent people get killed .
