the only reason why sephiroth wasn't able to beat cloud is .....because cloud strife is the protagonist ...look at him he just had 4 fights in 1 day starting midnight and ended up near sunset ...i mean he got ass kicked by 3 bastards ..geostigma is fucking him up .....he just went through a gigantic fire ball blast like sperm cell to egg cell...he got stabbed like a barbieque several times ...he got shot from behind.. and he got blasted using a materia....he's like a fuckin' cat 9 lives shit!

@augustuslxiii that's the beauty of it. he shouldn't have beaten him, and he did. We know, he knows, even Cloud knows it. But Sephiroth can't accept that he lost, no matter how much he deserved to win. That's life in a nutshell.
