Sunday 19th June 2011 saw possibibly the very first 8F to traverse the rails of East Kent. 8F No.48151 is seen approaching Westgate on Sea and passing through the station on Sunday 19th june 2011. 48151 named 'Gauge O Guild' is owned by David Smith and operated by West Coast Railways. Originally built at Crewe in 1943 and originally LMS No.8151. The 8F ran through Westgate a few minutes down and was hauling 13 coaches.

  • very nice. Sounds like you filmed in lousy weather. I filmed 48151 earlier that day at Feltham. She was late and absolutely tore past me. Have a look and comment if you've the time.
