you think a DJ hero controller could be made to work with that?
-
@woutervddn That's a whole different language to me.? Right now I got other problems. It's with Mixxx and my Maya 44.
-
@steeltownbrown52 well I haven't tried it, but I think it could be easy.
the 'roller' just keeps saying +1 or -1 when it turns, so if you take that signal, couple it to an arduino (arduino is easy to learn, trust me) and let the arduino send out a the midi signal.
sort of
void noteOn(int cmd, int pitch, int velocity) { Serial.print(cmd, BYTE); Serial.print(pitch, BYTE); Serial.print(velocity, BYTE);
you can even find a tutorial about it at
arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/Midi

@woutervddn ah no, could you?

Hey if I send you a beat could you scratch on it, not the whole beat just a small portion of the beat.

I wish Tascam would get their heads out of their butts and make the TT-M1 midi controllable.

What exactly is your left hand doing? It looks like it's having a spasm (Or doing the real scratching). But I'm sure it's the former.

naw im kutting the fader with the left. its authentic, check my other vids, i kut with the left and scratch with the right :-) terminatorx can allow you to cut with the middle mouse button but im using a mixer here

How do you have the mixer hooked up to your computer? Or is it all analog? Because if its analog I can see how one would do it.

the computer is actually plugged into the mixer
