During the last video of me rebooting the scanner I didnt know how to get full access to the machine because the Kiosk app would take over and disable the start menu. But after I finished that video I decided to reboot the scanner and try again. While it was loading the software i found out that if you click "Cancel" it will pause the loading process, thus letting me explore the device files and configuration. i was able to browse through Windows CE but unfortunately it looks as Macy's stripped the Kiosk down and took away uneccesary items such as Internet Explorer & Windows Media Player and only left the software needed for the Kiosk to do its job. **Sorry for holding the camera at a very crappy angle i was excited to find this exploit and I wasnt paying attention to how I was holding the camera, I will go back to Macy's to film this again eventually so you can see what i was doing**

  • If they disabled internet explorer, just get a folder open and type in the web address in the address bar.

  • Tried it, but it didnt even try to load when I pressed enter.
