Selena: **hands the box to demi** see for yourself.

Demi: **confused and opens the box** wowthis is beautiful.

Selena: thats not it. turn the necklace over.

Demi: **turns the necklace over and reads the print** wowwhat did you say?

Selena: i said thank youand then he kissed me.

Demi: and what did you do after that?

Selena: i dont knowit felt kinda awkward.

Demi: **smiles**

Selena: what?

Demi: nothing.

Selena: dems!

Demi: you still like nick.

Selena: noi dont.

Selena: no i dont.

Demi: you dont have to lie to me. im your best friend.

Selena: wellwhat about you and joe then?

Demi: stop trying to change the subject.

Selena: **smiles** look whos talking

Demi: whateverim going to sleep.

Selena: no youre not. you get to ask me questions and i dont get to do the same. not fair.

Demi: what do you wanna know?

Selena: do you still like joe?

Selena: **doesnt believe her**

Demi: can i please go to sleep?

Selena: youre off the hook this time. **starts walking to her bed**

Demi: **fake smiles**

Selena: i saw that!

Demi: **laughs and throws a pillow at selena**

Selena: ow! i felt that!

Demi: **laughs** go to sleep sel.

**at 2 am in the morning**

Selena: **wakes up and walks downstairs to get a cup of water**

**downstairs**

Selena: **hears something and walks into the living room and sees demi**

Demi: **playing her guitar and singing**

Selena: **listens to what demi is singing**

Demi: i wanna get back to the old dayswhen the phone would ringand i knew it was youi wanna talk back and get yelled atfight for nothing like we used tooh kiss m-

Selena: dems?

Demi: **quickly hides her song sheet** ooh hey sel.

Selena: what song were you playing?

Demi: oohumnothing just playing around with some chords.

Selena: it sounded pretty good. and you dont have to hide the song sheeti saw it.

Demi: right**takes out the song sheet**

Selena: can i see it?

Demi: umits nothing. its getting late. i should go to sleep. ill see you tomorrow. **walks up to her room**

Selena: hmm

**after demi falls asleep**

Selena: **walks to demis desk and takes her song sheet and reads what it says** i knew it
