@JeffersonDinedAlone I'll give it to Obama though - it's not like he ASKED for it. And sure it was prematurely given, but he still did something for the country at a time when people were hating government leaders due to Bush. Don't say that Hope and Inspiration is not important.

All those negative commenters at 1:00 would be eating their words now. 'Pop singers' pfft. But they have a point - I mean, celebrities (especially today) get too much reward for little work. But the Beatles had that special something so many celebrities even then didn't have. The commenters at 2:00 have it right. Besides, if sportsmen can get OBEs now...

@rigaudien Thats what my ole man used to call em too! I'd say listen to a song and he would listen for about 20 seconds and then say "let me know when they've tuned up"! There was the 1st generation gap I think.

It does matter, dumbass. Aside from the fact that Mike & Paul had already collaborated & was, thus, a backstabbing kind of thing to do,......they(the beatles) have lost out on millions because of it.
