I STILL love to watch this one! It's a terrific moment for Steve and Kayla...together after being away from each other for 16 years... reunited. I still can't believe they brought Stephen and Mary Beth back, yet they couldn't write them a good story. With all that history and two wonderful actors they couldn't give them something better than they got?

Honestly, Days writers don't have a CLUE.

Steve and Kayla owned the late 80's. Their chemistry and appeal, together and individually, was so superb. If anyone wants to know what makes a great couple, show them this episode.

You know, back in the day they really had a gift for picking actors and puting couples with great chemistry together. It shows because even with the shitty writing of the last few years, I was totally into John and Marlena, Steve and Kayla, Bo and Hope, Carey and Austin. But then they had to fuck that up too by getting rid of all the great couples. I used to count down the hours until the next episode of Days, now I can't even watch that shit.

Me too. I always watch Steve and Kayla clips. Old ones from their first run, new ones from their last run. I may not adore the writers, but I do adore Steve and Kayla and Stephen and Mary Beth.

I come out ahead with them. Always have. I mean...think about it. They're FRIENDS. They always support each other, always look out for each other, always encourage and believe in each other...and they LOVE each other. That makes them special and wonderful and unique.

I am still hooked on the clips of Steve and Kayla but like all of you have said no more Days for me. I haven't watched the show since they've been gone.
