the botton line is you need to look for more information on this. the rich used to pay 90% taxes, and were still rich. america enjoyed its most prosperous growth period. they just had an idea of being richer and used reagan for new legislation changes that would allow it. obama wanted to raise their tax rate from 36% to 39% and was called a socialist.
