I have one! It's an '06 smart forTwo Cabrio, Babus-modified -- that is, it has the Brabus interior and tighter suspension. Quite nice, handles like it's on rails and holds it's own in high-speed freeway traffic. I'm ashamed to quote the 0-60 MPH time, but after it's up to highway speeds it's easier to get a "burst" of speed to pass someone. it has no problem cruising at 130+ KM/H. Yea, not *fast* as a muscle car, but my old '65 Mustang never got 50+mpg fuel economy either. LOL

Well, according to some reports I've read the 'original' version didn't accelerate fast enough during initial 'proving runs' for the US DOT approval. That's why they boosted it by a few horse powers...

Also, technically it's not 'my' country but I thought your initial reply was very offensive which is why I even bother replying... Discussing is one thing, insulting is something totally different; not sure you know the difference...

the american version is "special" in matters of having higher horsepower when the original has less because according to statistics most if i can say all americans prefer faster cars in order to sell in your country which is why Canadians received the Smart Car first without the tune up.
