not entirely so. An UNUSED 35mm film is identical to DLP, but once it is fed through the projector it degrades the film as you screen it. It becomes imperfect. So a USED 35mm print can never be identical or superior to that of DLP. Dumbass.

You dumbass. Analog is a type of video. Normal theaters project 35mm film. A brand new 35mm print of a movie is identical to or better than DLP. Digital Projection's advantage is that it can be viewed over and over and doesn't lose quality.

You heard it from the man. Fuck IMAX, it's all about DLP aka HD cinema. Why would you want big analog when you have crystal clear HD, but still in a big movie theater???

Seeing an epic movie like '300' should be experienced in IMAX at least once, but push for DLP for all of your viewing needs.
