There isnt a engine inside a GPU; the gpu handles it. Or actually there "kind of" is with PhysX, but it requires a software to handle it. And first of all, ATI users have to use the software version - "emulated".

hope uknow that both ati and nvidia is forced to use the same physic engine .. = nvidia have no upperhand ati have everything nvidia have + more ...

Okay, im sitting here with let's see, i7 and a HD 4850 - hmm I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH PHYSX, can't even play it in Mirror's Edge! My Friend on a E8400 or E8500 and a gts 250 1gb, handles it on max w/o problems, think again eduardo.
ATI ARE GOING BACK TO THE BASEMENT WHEN Fermi comes out. (Nvidia Fermi - Super upgraded Cuda)

physx will be crap dx 11 anyway its deactivated by windows forces u to use one that works with all:) nvidia is just lame now becaus all cards can handle physx its just software physx not any hardware

Hey Tobler, I was wondering if you could tell me what settings you are using for Vantage( performance is the default I believe) and what you have your GFX cards clocked at. I have a similar setup, major difference being the processor(q9550), this will be a good starting point for me. TY in advance.

performance default
I have overclocked my cards to:
680 clock
1440 shaders
2200 memory
They run like a dream :)

This info was a big help to me, ty so much.
I clocked my cards to match yours and my cpu@3.2.
GPU score 17912, CPU score 35156....overall 20415.
I'm pretty pleased with that but like any enthusiast I will be attempting to push it a little farther.

Nice, how much do you get with PhysX disabled?
