Mississippi Fred McDowell - BLUES MAKER (1969) pt.2

While surfing around I ran into a pearl, this documentary about Mississippi Fred McDowell directed by Christian Garrison for The University of Mississippi

I'm not certain I did the right thing: embedding the video gave a terribly slow buffering and the video was impossible to see, so I downloaded it and uploaded it again on YouTube. There shouldn't be any problems though, videos on THE INTERNET ARCHIVE ( http://www.archive.org/details/blues_maker_1969 ) were i took it from are usually public domain and free to download.

fred mcdowell is THE unsung hero of slide guitar, completely origional and impossibal to immitate, his style is reminicent of indian raga, what with the slow begining climaxing in the fast paced chrishendo, btw, does anyone know the name of the last song?

I agree with yeah man Fred Mcdowell is an excellent slide guitarist. I think he's the best slide guitar player ever.

does anyone know if that version of long line skinner is on an album? I have almost everything he ever recorded but this version sounds a little different in the beggining of the song
