From Richie Sambora's 1991 debut solo album, Mr. Bluesman.
The song grabs a page out of some other famous person's book, and throws in a few loud notes at the the beginning, retreating to soft, and then loud again. You'll see what I mean. And then, of course, the famous Eric Clapton plays the guitar solo. You can really tell the difference - the guitar itself sounds different, and then the techniques, the slides, the absence of rapid-fire notes; all things to compare to Richie's playing. So who do you think's better?
Richie is a very under rated guitar player idc what the fuck anyone says

I love this song! Richie is so talented outside of his work in Bon Jovi; I actually prefer his more blues-rock oriented solo work. I think it suits his voice better. I read somewhere that Richie had composed a letter to Clapton asking him to guest on this song; Clapton claimed he thought the song would be a breeze so he didn't listen to Richie's enclosed demo beforehand; said when he got there he realized Richie's song was more in-depth than he would have thought; said he sweated it for hours
