it was something that I just worked out by ear and thought I would give it a shot! :o)

Just wanted to leave a comment from one guitarist to another: kid, you've got great tone. I realize you're playing through a richie strat, and it sounds like a marshall amp... great equipment no doubt... but your tone comes from your hands and fretwork. You've got a gift. Terrific job.

Richie's got TONS of feel, people often overlook that - and in this solo you've managed to capture that as well as the notes. Well done!

Now I must go and listen to original again as I haven't done that in a long time. Thanks for reminding me what a great song it is.
