"who knows what he was doing in that cabin in the woods" ;)
-
wonderful, thank you!
-
@berondi well if it takes shit to make bliss....
-
I'm sure Justin would chuckle at that comment. He had a wide range of musical influences from country to hip-hop.
-
@hisnameismoses Well ignorance is bliss I suppose! ; )
-
@hisnameismoses Justin Vernon will tell you that one of his major influences is John Prine, who is a country/folk singer. Do your homework!
By the way Bon Iver are musicians who make music. Bon Iver is not music in itself!
@berondi im not taling about bloody logic pro or something! i hear mutlitracking in the song but not that much editing. anyway i mean in the same key/pitch as the album version!

@stottieC oh, well justin is pretty good at subtle multi-tracking. he's a pretty open guy so you could ask him directly on twitter at @blobtower. But I'm not trying to imitate the album version, I'm just providing a cover that is fun to play without the backing tracks.

can u do a tutorial for how he plays it on the album because when i compared this is different. sounds lovely tho

@stottieC to play it on the album you need to add: 1: one small cabin with in-built recording studion, 2: assorted analogue recording equipment (slightly dusty) and 3: a really old, but high quality acoustic guitar. Then you have it! ; )
