Single leg Squat Jumps are a great exercise and the entire movement provides the body with strength, speed, coordination and power. Also commonly referred to as One Leg Squats, Pistol Squats or Bruce Lee Jump Squats. The Single Leg Squat Jump is one of the most efficient ways to develop superior leg strength while simultaneously building balance, rhythm and equal power output in each leg. Single Leg Squats provide the body with total balance and control when they can be performed with both legs. Performing the Single Leg Squat with a jump has a high degree of difficulty because one leg is forced to absorb the shock of the landing. Once this occurs the same leg must generate enough power to push the body upward from the seated position and then generate enough power to push the body of the ground and into the air. The Single Leg Squat Jump is one of my favorite exercises to perform, have fun doing this exercise! If you have any questions, please comment...
