Live from Jail

Breakthrough went "live from jail" behind the walls of an immigrant detention center and met several long time residents who face exile from the U.S. because of unfair immigration laws. The threat of being exiled away from their families and lives is almost too much to bear. As one of them says, "this is a nightmare that I've not been able to wake up from."

Boy this is so sad. They don't even know the countries they were born in...yet will be 'dumped' there and expected to know what to do? It would be like taken any of us born here and dumping us in another country where people speak another language and have a totally different culture..how would we even survive? How will they? @Southernjuggalo63  They are many innocent people that grow thru this and I say this because I personally know a few...The only reason they are put in jail is because they could not get legal stay here and some people it's really not their fault...It's because the judge keep denying their case just because....and it's sad for the kids that came here with their parents and are here most of their lives and know nothing about their homeland and have to suffer this...Trust me....I know!!!
