The Red Bull Bar Magic Trick Revealed:
The magic behind this bar trick relies entirely on the design of the Red Bull can. The key is to turn the tab 180 degrees and just barely fit it under the mouth of the can. Once the tab is rotated, the can can be flipped upside down and the liquid will remain inside. Without revealing to your audience, get the tab in position by pushing down on it as you're turning the can. Once it's in position, rotate the can so that the hole is in the 6 o'clock position. Before flipping the can upside down, the trick is to hold the can around the bottom ring, so you don't apply any pressure that would cause the liquid to spill. Place your palm over the can and quickly flip the can over. Make sure the can is exactly vertical and the hole stays in the 6 o'clock position. The liquid will stay inside the can. Now, to complete the bar trick, take a narrow object such as a pencil or straw and quickly insert it into the can to prove you haven't blocked the opening. To flip the can upright, cover the hole with two fingers to seal it off, then flip it back over. As you flip the can, use your two fingers to rotate the tab back to the original position so you don't reveal the secret of the magic trick to everyone watching.
