YouTube Topics: An Exploration

Have you ever come to YouTube and not known what to watch? This is a concept video that shows you how we are thinking about this issue.

We actually used this stop motion animation internally as the start of the YouTube Topics project. Thought we would share the vision and how we build stuff here with you. But tell us what you think of the idea!

Dear YouTube,

The Like/Dislike system, I can live with. I've gotten used to it now.

The new comment layout, fine with me.

but THIS, is just too much too take! The front page has completely lost it's organized, simple layout!

I don't know where you get your ideas, but I think I speak for a big part of the community when I say "YouTube, go F*ck yourself

YouTube is going to change a lot, now that Google is on board ~ get used to it ~ ~

However, unlike the meaningless random Facebook changes, Google has a roadmap of awesome brain-ness ~

When I click on Pets & Animals the top user is the owner of a business that profits from the abuse of dogs. Why does YouTube and its sponsors support this animal abuse? Please stop him from claiming to be an expert when he is clearly not. fredhansen should be banned from YouTube.
