@Nanomaru -F is actually for 'frameless' but yes, Delorean was ordered to surrender the designs of the Firebird to Chevy, GM's unofficial sports car division. for their Cheetah, later branded Camaro. 40 some years later and Bumblebee is everyone's sweetheart, but Delorean called the Firebird the "Corvette-killer" for a reason. The third gen cars were planned with Maserati 10-cylinders but we got a weak Chevy made 305 instead.
