"A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF A BOUNCER" IS A BASTARDIZIATION OF "A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOL".
Composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim for the film "Black Orpheus". THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL BRAZILLIAN BOSSA NOVA SUNG BY FRANK SINATRA , JACK JONES AND
MANY TOP SINGERS. KEITH BASTARDSON IS ATTEMPTING TO JOIN THEIR RANKS WITH HIS RE-WRITE
OF A GREAT PIECE OF MUSIC.
I might be able to be a bouncer, because
I get in enough scuffles anyway.
This Keith has probably been bashed
in the head more than most people.

Such a nice melody and such gymnasium words. I'm sure the originals
were more fitting. You know, there's Macho, and then there's pug hooligan, too. I watch it in amazement.

The first lyrics about the pugnacious,
gruelling nights of bouncers. Not to be recommended for the delicate type.
Why Keith bastardized this one I don't
know. It was a classic, sensitive song.

It used to be one of my favorite Brazillian
bossa novas. It sure took on a different meaning when Keith Bastardson got
his bouncer hands on it..

I loved A Day In Life The Of A Fool.
I like A Night In The Life Of A Bouncer. The job is incongrous with what the
song was. This bouncer song does
amuse me.
